Learn More

Once She Dries is an installation-performance that tells the story of coral reefs during our current geologic age, the Anthropocene. Follow the perilous journey of Coral as she navigates an unstable climate that threatens to bleach and dry her entire reef, endangering Coral and our world as we know it. The piece unfolds as a looped recording, featuring projected text, vocals, piano, violin, and montaged video design. Once She Dries is created by Jersey City based artists Meagan Woods and Nancy Cohen.
